The Leasing Program at Vintage Lane-Getting Started

This year Vintage Lane is again proud to offer our popular shared leasing  program to new clients, which is a great way to experience high-level instruction and have access to show-quality horses without making the commitment of ownership.  VL riders grow and learn within the support of  a proven system of traditional hunt seat instruction.   Horsemanship is always part of the curriculum, including learning about basic horse care, grooming and tacking, and the safe handling of our equine friends.   We ask that our beginning level riders spend a few ground lessons with an instructor to practice these skills in preparation for doing so on their own when approved.

Program Guidelines:

Created for riders who are riding comfortably at the walk and trot, to early intermediate riders who are working at mastering basic skills in flatwork and over low jumps.  Monthly costs are inclusive of lessons, tack and horse use, and are offered on a month-to-month basis.  Privately owned horses are also often available for advanced students or those with more competitive goals.

Ages:  Vintage Lane accepts riders starting at age 8, and supports a diverse group of elementary through high school students.  We also have an ever-growing group of working adults, with evening lessons available during the week.

Hours of Operation:  We offer lessons Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5:30pm, and evening lessons by appt.  Weekends we offer lessons from  9am-3pm Saturday and Sunday.
